Duke of Devonshire Officially Opens Chesterfield

LSP are pleased to announce the formal opening of the Grange Family Health Centre in the Rother District of Chesterfield. The Duke of Devonshire attended the official opening, with other guests including the Mayor and Mayoress of Chesterfield, Council officials, senior representatives of NHS Derbyshire County and patient groups. LSP developed the facility on behalf of the Holywell Medical Group, the scheme being funded by Assura Property. It was acknowledged that the new centre was more convenient for patients in the Rother area, where a lot of people are still not registered with a doctor. The new facility provides a full GP service, together with additional primary care services and an integrated pharmacy; a true community healthcare facility.
