New Co-op Convenience Store Opens

LSP’s retail project at 47, Two Mile Hill in Bristol was officially opened to customers today.by the Southern Cooperative on 23rd January 2013. Pupils from Air Balloon Hill Primary School helped to open the new convenience food store and The Southern Co-operative donated £500 to the school by way of a thank you for opening the store.
The project involved the demolition of the former Lord Rodney public house and the construction of a new 4,000sqft retail shell together with on-site parking. 15 full and part time jobs have been created for local people at the new store. Store Manager Mike Hand, said: “We’re pleased to welcome customers and look forward to being part of the local community with the opening of this new store.”
