A Positive Start to 2014

LSP has started the year on a positive footing, having secured a new mixed use development; completed a scheme which was on site and our ongoing pipeline of new opportunities is heading in the right direction.
Swindon Borough Council appointed LSP in November 2013 to reprovide the Sussex Square Retail Centre on Queens Drive following a competitive tender. It forms an integral part of the Council’s masterplan for the Walcot East District of Swindon. LSP have ben proactive working alongside the Council officers, to design the scheme, which is due to be submitted for planning in spring 2014. The scheme provides 4 retail units and a Council led library.
The mixed use, Church Hill Centre at Redditch for Redditch Borough Council was completed in December 2013 and provides 5 new retail units, anchored by McColls convenience store, together with a large dental practice. The Maple View Medical Practice is located on the first floor. The second phase of the development is now under way with Bellway providing 50 new homes.
Of our schemes in progress, the Co-op Convenience stores at Stapleford and Willington and the mixed use scheme at Flixton for Trafford Borough Council have all been granted planning consent and we are working to get the schemes on site.
